We are looking forward to greeting you in a little more than one week!  We wait in expectation for what God will provide for us in our time together.   We have a rich and informative program, with contributions from both the committee, and the world of Episcopal Cursillo.  We trust that everyone that comes will be a presenter – presenting ideas, challenges, victories, and solutions from our individual ministries.

The environment.   We in the Midwest pride ourselves on two seasons, Spring and Fall.   Weather forecasts for our weekend look very good – highs in the low 70’s and overnight lows in the mid 40’s.   Suggest a light jacket for early mornings, and evenings.  Our headquarters, and check-in will be in Wilson Lodge at Toddhall Retreat and Conference center (320 Todd Center Dr, Columbia, IL 62236).   If arriving by air, hopefully you’ve submitted a ground transportation request, if not, please do so pronto!  Conference Transportation Assistance Form.  If arriving by auto, GPS does a good job of directing to the center.  Please arrive in enough time to get settled before supper, which is promptly at 6pm.  You can get oriented to the center via this map [Link].  

The program.  Please orient yourself with the conference schedule via this [Link].  After supper, our first session Wednesday night will focus on centering ourselves for the work of the conference through music and a guided meditation.  Also, we need your help to make good decisions about assigning conference rooms to workshops that start Thursday.  Please help by indicating your interest level in each workshop with the survey [Link]  The 6 workshops will be presented twice.  Any one individual could attend 4 different workshops. 

We’ll have a “pay as you go” wine bar at the end of the day, please bring cash in singles to contribute.  Finally, there the inevitable questions and potential changes that pop up.  Please forward those to events@episcopalcursilloministry.org.
